Why you should choose thailand for your memorable honeymoon trip ?

Thailand has warm tropical weather, it is also cheap and well promoted by travel agents in Europe compared to other Asian destinations.Thai beaches are great and some of the islands are just beautiful. Some of the northern regions in Thailand such as Chiangmai and Chiangrai are also beautiful to explore.

1. Heavenly Beaches

Thailand has some of the best beaches and private islands in the world. The world famous Phi Phi Island has been featured on the covers of travel magazines for decades, and the beaches surrounding the Gulf of Thailand are gorgeous. The Thai beaches are one very big reason to take a permanent vacation to Thailand.
Warm, clear water, stunning vistas and marine life to gawk at as you swim, snorkel or scuba. Plus, there are so many different types of beaches in Thailand, from quiet and laid back to party all night, that everyone can find the perfect place.
Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is a major international resort destination. Due to its popularity, Phuket is typically crawling with tourists so it's not exactly the place for escaping. If you're looking to get far from the madding crowd, try the Evason Phuket and Six Senses Spa. The best part is the private island reserved exclusively for guests. Bon Island is a quick 15-minute boat ride away from the resort (the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle long-tail boat) and is a perfect island paradise. The island has an on-site restaurant and bar and it's the perfect place for swimming and snorkeling. Here, the sand is soft, the water warm and the view ... well, let's just say you'll be dreaming about it for months afterwards.

2. The People

Thai people are some of the nicest people in the world and have a great sense of humor. Their culture deeply values kindness and benevolence, which makes it a great place to be. Thailand has been known as the “Land of Smiles” for decades and there is a good reason why.
They are extraordinarily nice and welcoming.
They especially like “Farangs” (Thai word for Westerners) and will warm up to you very quickly if they can tell that you are from Europe or America.

3.
Delicious Thai Food

Thai food is considered some of the best food in the world. With a number of great restaurants and food stalls all over every major city, there is no shortage of great food in Thailand.
Several restaurants in Bangkok have been rated as some of the best restaurants in the world, and some of the local street vendors can cook up food that puts the average Western restaurant to shame.

4. Low Prices

The dollar goes a long way in Thailand. There are hundreds of hotels and guesthouses for under $20 a night. Thai food is likewise inexpensive and often the street food vendors, who typically sell dishes for the equivalent of $1 or less, offer the most delicious stuff. Want to splurge? Even better, as Thailand has some amazing hotels and resorts, all for significantly less than you would pay back home.
House rental costs go for one fifth the cost and medical costs are 10% the cost of a quality American or European hospital. The ability to drive a motorbike around most major cities also cuts down on transportation costs and makes living in Thailand extremely affordable.

5.
Thai Markets and Attractions

Thailand has some of the most unique markets and attractions. You can ride on elephants through the mountains, play with tigers, or participate in the annual holiday of Loy Krathong. Thai attractions are internationally famous and one of the major draws for tourists from around the world.

Thai markets are also fun to explore and become an attraction in and of themselves. Low prices and the ability to find just about anything you can imagine, make exploring Thai markets quite the adventure. Thailand is also one of the few cultures with floating markets.

6. Scenery

Thailand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with great scenery. With majestic mountains, enchanting waterfalls, and beautiful countryside, Thailand has many other beautiful aspects to the country’s natural surroundings than just its beaches.

7. Massages

Massages are notoriously inexpensive in Thailand. An hour-long, full-body massage can cost as little as $6 for an hour. Massage parlours abound (make sure you find one that's offering legit massages and not those "other" kind) and your options are plentiful, from traditional Thai massages to reflexology and foot massages.

8. Canal tours

Once known as the "Venice of the East" because of the many canals (klongs) snaking their way through the city, Bangkok is home to an intricate network of waterways. A tour of these canals is a great way to catch a glimpse into traditional, everyday Thai life, as many homes line the canals.
Tours are available simply by heading down to the city's main river, the Chao Phraya. You can hire a boat yourself or find someone offering guided tours. The long-tail boats, which navigate the waterways, are a fun and authentically Thai way to explore this other side of life in the city. Here, you'll see an older lifestyle that seems untouched by the modern advances in Bangkok's city proper.

9. Cultural Attractions

There is no shortage of cultural attractions to see in Thailand. Bangkok, in particular, is full of things to do and see. Temples, palaces, museums ... take your pick. First on your list should be The Grand Palace.
Built in 1782, The Grand Palace served as the King's residence, home of the Royal Court and the administrative seat of the government for 150 years. Nowadays, it's a tourist attraction more than anything, though it is occasionally used for special royal ceremonies. Visitors will be dazzled by the intricate detail and imposing architecture of the structures that occupy the 214,000 square meters of sprawling grounds. It's open daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

10. Perfect for Travel

Thailand is smack dab in the middle of everything. It’s 3 hours to Hong Kong, 2 hours to Singapore, 4 hours to Bali, half way between Australia and Europe. You can get to a lot of places easily from Thailand, which when you are a traveler like myself, is really appealing. And, you can get to many of these destinations cheap. I’m heading to Singapore tomorrow for 4 days and it only cost me $120 USD roundtrip on Tiger Airways. Not a bad deal and not a bad way to spend the weekend.

There are a number of reasons why Thailand is one of the top destinations for ex-pats and tourists. An estimated 11 million tourists visit Bangkok annually and the country is continuing to grow and develop. If you haven’t been to Thailand yet, book some tickets and plan a trip. You’ll enjoy it.
